About

EZRA Systems develops practical solutions for private mobile networks, focused on real-world deployment in temporary and demanding environments. The goal is to make mobile network technology accessible beyond controlled setups, where simplicity, reliability and integration matter more than theoretical performance.

Approach

Rather than relying on fixed infrastructure, systems are designed and deployed based on specific applications and environments. Real-world use cases drive both implementation and continuous improvement, ensuring that solutions remain practical and adaptable. This approach connects real deployments with ongoing system development, enabling continuous refinement of a compact, software-defined platform.

Our Team

Thomas Gysin – Business & Product

Combining engineering and entrepreneurship, Thomas focuses on developing and deploying practical private mobile network systems. His background in wireless communication and broadcast environments drives a strong focus on systems that operate reliably in real-world conditions.

Linus Leuch – Hardware & System Design

Linus focuses on system design and implementation, with experience in developing complex systems and leading their integration into reliable overall architectures. His work ensures robust and efficient solutions that remain operable from initial setup through to deployment.

Background

The work is rooted in practical experience in wireless communication, broadcast environments and system development, including work carried out at ZHAW. This experience showed that existing mobile network technology offers significant potential, but is often difficult to deploy and operate in smaller, temporary or application-specific scenarios.

Support and collaboration

The work builds on the environment at ZHAW and is supported by the Gebert Rüf Stiftung, in collaboration with partners from research and industry.
